Dean’s Nursery is a family business that specializes in growing 1-2 year old New Zealand native and exotic trees and shrubs. Our plants are suited to lifestyle blocks, landowners and town gardens. We sell our plants both retail and wholesale to gardeners and those in the landscape trade.

Dean’s Nursery is located just outside of Richmond 15 minutes south of Nelson. Most of our trees and shrubs are grown at our Nelson/Tasman Nursery with plants hardened to suit a wide range of conditions. We have been growing trees and shrubs for over twenty years. We have a 2018-2019 plant catalogue available to order from, featuring many New Zealand native plants.

Although we are Nelson-based, we can also deliver to Golden Bay, Marlborough and other areas throughout NZ on request.

Our Spring Sale begins this Saturday 29th and runs throughout the month of October

All plants will have 10% off marked price with 20 % off the Following

Deciduous Trees,  Rhododendrons, Citrus, Viburnums, Conifers, Hebes and Climbers.

There will also be a few other super specials.

During the sale we will be open 7 DAYS a week from 9 to 5.
